Roger Hiorn

Hiorn’s work Seizure, above, in which he coated the interior of a South London flat with blue crystals, is the most visually striking of the entries.
For Seizure Hiorn flooded the flat with 70,000 liters of hot copper sulphate solution, which was then left to cool and crystallize, giving the illusion of an iridescent crystal cave.
